when selecting alternative country i have no option to search by zip code i have city nav 2009 north america on sd card is it possible? or do you have to take the city address path

suppose its habit to turn off the ones not being used, so if i install the custom poi's and leave both map sets ticked should be ok?

i have usa maps on mem card now if i turn off euro maps whilst in US will any stored poi's on the units memory still be ok i.e. work in US i have done this before but forgotten the process

resolved it was the sd adaptor unreal adaptor works ok with all cards except 2gb probably a fake kingston

i used approx 4 or 5 2gb cards locked up with them all, thats in both units must be the hardware all these cards work in my phone ok and no problem with smaller cards, garmin have it at the mo t ...

ive done it on 255today, works just the same as mapsource by the looks of things and it will be indoors on my boat so no prob there just an idea but its worked ok apparently all nuvis are able now

apparently 2gb max for nuvi 2xx and been onto garmin they think it is unit or firmware and asked me to return it

now got 2x2gb no joy on either, 2x512mb both ok and one 128mb thats ok too is it the size surely they will accept 2gb

thought it would be helpful to try bigger card, put in 2gb kingston micro sd card, unit shuts down and keeps rebooting ok with 512mb cards? any explanations

ive got no icon at all and when i plugged in reciever the first time i got the message,updates had allready happened
