The Argos charger is fine as it is 2.5A . If the charger were less than 2.0A then damage would be caused. The adaptor should be set at 5V.

I bought the Argos adaptor which is working fine. Just make sure you set at 5v.

I have just bought from Argos a Masterplug 2500mA multi-voltage adaptor which converts mains to either 3,4.5,5,6,6.5 or 7v. The TTG300 needs 5v and 2000mA . Cost £14.99 Argos catalog no. 982/8915.

Postcode works fine on my TTG 300 - my map shows exact spot of house numbers unless the house number is not immediately adjacent to public highway.
