I will send you one straight way... But its really easy to reproduce.

I simply create a BMP of something like 20x20 (less or more gives the same results), and then draw a box 1 pixel wide around th ...

I have done a bit of experimentation and found that if I reduce the file down to 21x21, 20x20 and 19x19 its exactly the same.

I also tried increasing the colour depth to 24bit, rather than 8bit and ...

I am using TomTom 5.201 on my Palm and have recently borrowed/modified a set of POI icons for the speed camera database.

I have noticed that they are not quite right.. They are missing one pixel/co ...

It turns out that there are several varient of 660 maps... The 660-1223 work on 5.201, but 660-1219 don't!

Sorry MrT.. I read your reply again and understand what you are saying.. A 're-rediating' aerial?.. That sound ideal.. I havn't heard of one before, but fully understand what you are talking about... ...

Its easier than that.. There is a area above the rear view mirror which dramatically increases the signal once the GPS moved underneath it, so a £15 external ariel would do the trick..

BUT.. It wou ...

Just because there are activation key generators out there, doesn't mean that I am going to use them!!

Its a bit like walking into a shop.. Picking up and item.. Walking around with it and then bei ...

I am not sure if the list is still being maintained, but I can add something to it.

It appears that there are more than one version of 660 map.. I have seen 660-1219, 660-1223 and others.

From t ...

I am getting them from all over.. Several of you are implying, this but I want to stress that this has nothing to do with Piracy (although I am sure that someone will disagree)

Since TomTom have co ...

I don't know if it's a similar problem, but when the Classic GO came out, it could only see 5, or was it 7, Maps.

A limit of 3 Maps seems a bit low though. If you take off the Maps for UK, Germany ...

I have the complete set of 660 maps, but only 1/2 are seen on my Palm running 5.201.

If I put them on a card, some are seen, some are not.

For example, UK, Germany, France all work. But in contr ...

Well I am officially confused then.

The difference is night and day for me.. Even if I ignore the 'lower signal', the TT1 is no where near as accurate as my Palm when travelling about.

Perhaps i ...

This doesn't make sense to me, as I just took my colleagues TomTom One (the new shape) out again to do a side by side comparison with my Palm (which BlueTooth GPS in the back of the car)

Where as m ...

Is there any way to identify which version a map is without loading it into TomTom.

I have a bunch of maps which arn't even recognised by my Palm and am wondering if I have the maps mixed up.
