Just wanted to add that i stuck it in the car, it took about a minute to get a fix and it works fine.

OK, this may not apply to all you guys but i had major trouble getting tom tom 5 to work with bluetooth gps, i've now got it to see i have a gps unit, these are the steps i used.

OK - Rang Tom Tom Support and they reset my activation code for me so now i can use my imate jam.

Finally got it working see my new post regarding how i got tom tom 5 to see my bluetooth gps.

Oops sorry mate, yes u are right, i just misunderstood what you wrote.

no, you will have to get tom tom to de-activate the activation code and then go to the activation screen with your existing product code from your software and then you will get a new activation code ...

don't think so mate.

it only allows u to have that product activation code on one machine at a time, so if i guess correctly if u have two pda's u have to buy another copy to have them both running ...
