Fair enough. But I do wonder if people visit the site and not find anything relevant will simply go somewhere else? I may be the exception in asking on the forum (being an existing member).

I see a dedicated section on the forum for Google Maps Navigation. Maybe (assuming I am right and there isn't one) it's time to set one up? I'd be happy to volunteer to help. I run three forums on my ...

Sorry that this is off-topic a bit, but I can't seem to find a section on the forum about Google Maps Navigation on Android? Can anyone help?

Slightly off topic I know, but I WAS going to go down the HD2 and TTN7 route, but as I researched things more I decided to go for Android and the HTC Desire. My new phone arrived two days ago and it's ...

I have pretty much decided to go for an HTC Desire Android handset and to try out the Google Navigation option now it is available in the UK.

I'm beginning to think that all my preconceptions are very out of date (smartphone, OS, navigation software - all of it!)

I have now almost certainly decided to go for an Android phone instead of t ...

I know TomTom have been a bit lax in the PDA / Smartphone department but they are the only player with a decent (an reliable-ish) traffic solution for a smartphone.

I haven't had much need for tr ...

Thanks for the Sygic info.

This has all made me rethink. I see that the Android HTC Desire is the same price as the WM HD2. The HD2 is amazing in pictures, but it's quite large in real life. The De ...

Peter, you have got me thinking; I'm not that keen on CoPilot, but I had never heard of Sygic before. There don't seem to be that many reviews thought. From what I can see it looks rather similar to T ...

I did likewise and sold my TyTN II with the TT6 left installed.

I see TT7 for PDA and Smartphones h ...
