AFAIK the 'New edition' refers to the fact that it comes with V7 Software.

AFAIK the 980T only came with full European maps so the UK should be covered by your mapping.
Yes, you will need the external TMC aerial if you want use TMC , it won't work without it.

Do you know if the 2Gb limit is due to it not supporting SDHC ?
You can get 4Gb non SDHC cards but they are hard to find. |

Its normal I think. Every time you update the PND it re asks you. Also if you remove and resinsert the SD card ( without updating it ) it seems to ask you. |

Just tried the original SD card in my laptop. Windows doesnt recognise the card as formatted. I guess it will have to be the SD Restore option using Content Manager. |
