| Probably not a power loss over that length of cable. More likely that the longer cable makes a better aerial and therefore is more noisy hence no signal lock. |

If it works then when you press the diamond you will get traffic problems listed. If it doesn't or you don't have a signal you will get "No Traffic Data Available".
