had a search but cant find the answer.
Can tt5 pda maps work with tt5 mobile?
I installed Florida via pc to mmc and cant seem to get them to show in chage map option. |

Mine will work with navigate to filling station poi if i browse map, navigate to but not if a navigate to poi filling station.
It is the same for large poi files as you say, it crashes.

Converted files to ov2, but they cant be found in poi but the image is there.

im trying to add POI to Florida maps in TT5,i found a site but the format is .an1 files???
Can anyone please point me in the direction of compatible POI'S or a method to convert?

You cant enable gps to the pda, it enables with the software ,ie gps info or tom tom etc. |

Id love to help but sadly i use a cf card, however i have ordered a 338.
My cf card has to be in place to be recognised on start up before i launch tom tom, it then finds it as generic cf card.

Not very cost effective to go and by another if you already have a pda and a contract mobile!
It means tying in to another contract
So has anyone took the plunge and tried these? |

It may be cheaper if you use it for data only, this means you have internet access anywhere.
May be good if you have rollover minutes left to use them up
