can anyone tell me if the registry reverts back to factory condition when you carry out a hard reset or do the entries hang around waiting to reappear?

I use a kingston 512mb CF card. This has in the past proved to work faultlessly.

i installed TTN3.01 onto my CF and that seems to have done the trick - I think.

will checkout the operation of 3.07 UK maps tomorrow.

final update on this.

turned out to be a faulty motherboard.

have managed to get a connection via a serial lead the USB cradles still won't work.

can at least synch. now trying to download apps.
