OK. Many thanks for the help so far but one last question. If the 1.9GB download is not one big map but all the seperate countries/groups of countries does that mean I'd not be able to navigate seamle ...

Yeah I've seen that too but if you can download the maps for half the price and then load them onto your own SD card which you've paid £40 for, that appears to make far more sense, unless I'm missing ...

Well that's saved me a few bob. I've just taken the plunge into satnav with a Tom Tom One and was considering the traffic reports. Think I'll wait till I hear they've sorted their lives out.
