As I don't have the updater tool not sure what is supposed to update.
I assumed it would update the application, map or whatever needs updating.

I have a Mio 269 with MioMap 32 installed.
Is there a Mio updater tool available for this setup?
Looked at the Mio website but couldn't find one.

I have a Mio 269 with V2 installed.
Is the upgrade to V3 and hence V3.2 worth the money?
I live in Spain.

V2 of Miomap searches on part postcode sanme as V1.
Don`t find it much of a problem.

If the Mio 269+ is the same as the Mio 269 then the socket is on the back top right hand corner. It is a small brass hole.

Hi
How easy is it to bend the flexible part?
Mine is a 2 handed job and doesn`t flex or vibrate when mounted.
Perhaps the flexoible part on yours is too flexible and hence the vibration.

One arrived one afternoon, another next moring and another the same afternoon. Total of 3 disks :-)

I had the same problem flashing from a SD card. Turned out that the SD card was slightly duff. Repeated process on another SD card without any problem.

The 269 does a full postcode search on Spanish post codes :-)
I live in Spain where post codes are 5 digits.
It only does a partial search on UK postcodes, just CW8 4, for example.

Just recieved and installed MioMap v2.0 on my Miotec 269.
Installation of new maps took about 1.5 hours.
New interface looks good.
I hope to give it a try out tomorrow.

My understanding is that the 268+ comes with only one region but you can buy the full maps of all European regions.
The 269+ comes with all European regions.

Used a different SD card and all worked OK.
I have, occaisonally had problems with the SD card in a digital camera.
Seems like a slightly duff SD card.
