I don't appear to be able to get a gps from my icn630.
So I cam assume that the built receiver has 'gone west', if this is the case can I just plug in an external receiver? and all will be well. If ... |

it's just TeleAtlas info that lets it down.
You'll have to excuse my igorance on this, have the maps/info been changed in V2, having had no previous experience or knowledge. |

Yes
But the screen shows the details listed as:
Winthrop Street, Tower Hamlets, London.
The screen map though shows the major road as Whitechapel Road.
