My 4700 looks good too - but are you able to store and use the 7 digit postcode from the SD card? I can't....

Do not move the tomtom directories into a sub-directory - it will stop working.
Why TomTom wrote it this way is a mystery & very irritating. |

I am running on hp1940, with samsung 266 Mhz processor & 1 Gb integral SD card.
Scrolling seems a lot smoother than TT3 (& may I say slightly faster), even with POI's on the map.

As per other replies : Checkpoint 3.2 will not work with TT5.
However, Checkpoint 3.2 doesstill work on its own.

If you have just "upgraded" to tt5, then maps are in different folder.
Rename folder as "Great_Britain navigator Map" & you should be able to sync with 3.2 |
