perfect explanation.

as you say trends helps plan the route and then tmc then helps add latest traffic incidents.

i think you have helped me decide on the 2360 rather than the 1390

oh that is a shame.

quite a nice feature to give an warning on toll charge roads. e.g. sometime you want to use the m6 toll other times avoid.

thanks for the reply but my question was really about traffic trends vs tmc.

i.e. if you have tmc then the gps knows yje current congestion on roads - therefore this is more accurate than using his ...

I can't make my mind up on the 2360T and the 1390T.

the 2360T has TrafficTrends and VoiceControl
But as the 1390T has TMC I assume it will be able to take into account CURRENT traffic vs. historic ...

I guess it is down to taste - I prefer the look/size of the one.
Note the one has the SiRFStarIII chipset - which means great gps reception

I had a tt go 300 - until it developed a fault and I got a refund.
I purchased a TTOne from the LINK.
I have to say that it is far better than the 300.

I´ve got a linux pc (don´t use windows) - wife has a Max osx.
Can you transfer files such as the PGPSW Camera DB using normal usb file transfer or do you have no choice but to use the poi transfer
