Just guessing why you need it: switch off automatic recalculation in General settings, and you can make routes from B to C.

No, you can't change the icon. I'll probably implement that too sometime.
I know a guy who wrote a free windows app which can do that but he hasn't released it yet.

Warning is for the update only. You can plug in Mio or iGO SD cards with new maps, languages and voices, and it'll use them.

You can import your POIs through an SD card as well. Backup your database (settings/advanced/user data management/backup DB), then import your pois into igo_backup.db, then do a "Restore DB"

POIConvert does work - it converts iGO.db into a .kml (google earth) file, which is jsut an XML document.

I've managed to write a script that converts a .csv file (from POIHandler) into a google .k ...

I think it's because the different releases of the maps. With the maps distributed with Mio the fastest routing was improved. These maps will be upgraded in the R2 release of iGO.

Presumably X is the number of the turn (from the current position) being announced. So that X=1 is the next turn, X~1 is either the 2nd or 3rd etc. dependent on the value of X.
