This is the changelog for version 1.2. Point 7 seems the same as the Duch version, as do many of the other points.

It would seem that the whole changelog is very similar if not identical.

That does seem strange. The GPX file that I downloaded had a mixture of both, and worked without any problems. The download does generate two files though, and I used the larger of the two. ...
