| I suspect many of the POIs that are inaccurate were derived using geocoding - i.e. the actual physical location of them wasn't verified, it was just "worked out" by using the address/postcode register ... |

Not quite, it's just a Palm branded GPS receiver and a 1Gb SD Card containing the Nav6 software and maps which you use with your current Treo 650, 700P or 700W.

| I think the problem you are seeing is because, I think the smallest distance that TomTom deals with is 50yds or 50m. The distance will probably be more accurate when it says 400yds or 200yds. |
