never did any settings all i done was preferences,bluetooth,trusted devices,add device.

i am successfully running TomTom 5 with a Globalsat BT338 on a Palm T3.
no plus services work because of the palm but I'm not interested in any of the plus services anyway. |

it sounds like you have gone through the ipaq setup and not the palm setup.
maps for the ipaq cannot be used on the palm and vice versa.
tom tom setup automatically runs install for whatever hot ... |

the major roads of europe are on the plus maps.
every plus map comes with the major roads of europe, not only that the main map is full street level map. so on GB maps Great Britain is full street ... |

i don't have any sugestions but i do know bt338 works with tt5.
this is my setup exept mine is on a palm t3 not a ipaq 4700. |

if anyone upgrading to v5 upgraded on new sd card and still have v4.4 maps on old card, you can install v4.4 on again.
when you put v5 maps in tomtom 5 runs,
and when you put v4.4 maps in tomtom 4 ... |
