I am sorry to be a bearer of bad news but i returned the unit as i was not satisfied with it rather let down.

I have done as you said and for some reason it still goes back to the same location not my location.

But i found a back up i did of my sd card and replaced it with the back up and its okay now.

Every time i run Tomtom 5 on my pda it always starts up showing an area in the Uk that is nowhere near to where i live is this done by default.
