Can anyone help out.
On my TT3, it had a couple of very useful POI's - Namely "Open Parking" and "Parking Garage"
The 2 categories are still there in TT5, but they are now EMPTY !!!!!

Definitely.
The signal retention in v5 is MUCH worse than in v3. How can this be ??? It is supposed to be an UPGRADE, which suggests to me that things should get BETTER - Not WORSE !!!!

I've just set mine up.
Select "Other Cable NMEA GPS"
Set Baud Rate to "4800" (should be the default)
Then choose "CF_CARD GE" from the list to actually select your GPS.

I know it's a little off-topic for what's normally on here, but I have a BC-307x (xTrac) which is having difficulty in getting me closer than 50ft from any geocache.

I agree.
Whilst I ride a Deauville (read "Dullville"), I have no intercomms as only I ride it.
I just use a walkman for music, so have no bike-based headset either.
