The GPRS modem won't work if the battery is knackered, as the modem takes spikes of current that are more than the USB supply can directly handle.

In terms of capability the x20/ x30 are virtually the same in comparison to an x40 without the Live service subscription.

With the 520/ 530 you get the mp3 player which is only available on the top ...

I have a Go 300 and have been using Traffic for 3 years now. The sub isn't due to expire until the 21st of December but my Tom Tom has suddenly started to tell me the sub has expired, which is odd.

I intially had mine running fine (although I had to tell the Tom Tom it was a Sony P910i as obviously the P1i is too new for it's listings).

Same problem here. Just a white screen when you try to download combined PoS's. Shame as I needed them for a holiday tommorrow.
