Hi Drp,
I would typically put a waypoint every 10 miles if it is a straight road and closer together if going round a major city. For example to make Navman take the autoroute round Orleans.

It works on the 530 but the file path is different
My Flash Disk\Navman\Lightning\Navman\Sound\
delete all the .dat files except uk_f_5.dat & uk_m_5.dat

So this is why they are not mentioned on the box of the Local Edition but are included in the package.
The Local Edition in the UK includes the T1 traffic module for the same price as the ICN530.
