I am interested in knowing what maps people are using when they get these problems, are they the GB map or the GB PLUS map?
Also could someone give some example postcodes that show this problem.

The folder that you need to place the new data.chk file in is \program files\navigator

Put the data.chk file in the \program files\navigator\ folder on the PPC.
Remember to backup the original one first.

Simply disable POI's on the map and it will work very smoothly.

You all saved the day again.

In the "zip" directory on your SD card, do you have the Great_Britain.Postal file? If not then TTN5 will default to the old TTN3 system of postcode lookup.

I just checked the various screens again in case I missed something, you will find that there is a dash "-" on the #&? screen but not an underscore "_".

Has any body else noticed that when typing in your email address for the tomtom plus service in TTN5, there is no underscore.
As my email address has an underscore in it then this presents a bit of a ...

That will explain why the map scolls as slow as TT3 when all the speed camera's are displayed on the 3d view.
I better upgrade to a faster sd card then Sad
