OSGB (or more correctly OSGB36) and BNG (British National Grid) are one and the same.

Why not just use IARU Locator or QRA-Locator ([url=http://www.arrl.org/locate/gridinfo.html]more)
This is used by Radio Ameters and gives nice short locations like IO34TN
