I can confirm that it does indeed work, and works very well. With a single english voice (Kate) the entire data takes up 486Mb.

I should add that although I used Resco file explorer I expect you could use any registry editor. |

Well, after a bit of experimentation I managed to get TTS to run off my SD card. It seems to work pretty smoothly, and I've managed to free up about 8Mb of program memory! :P

Can the program files and TTS be installed to the SD card along with the maps? I'm getting rather short on free program memory.

If you look at the 'demo' the speed on the motorway is 75mph, so I guess this must be the speed the routing algorithms use. |

the screen seems to scroll more smoothly if you reduce the number of poi's being displayed i.e preferences>manage poi>enable/disable.
I have only speed cameras enabled and it scrolls fairly s ... |

oh, a good alternative would be navigon MN5: uptodate maps and decent routing but no support for TMC anymore. |

It will work. Or maybe I should say is likely(90%) to work, given the fact that tomtom says tt5 is compatible with every other xda, and I've seen tt5 running nicely on an m2000(xda2s)
