unfortunately the new TomTom GO has nothing of use like this - seem to have spent all their budget/time/braincells on rending obscure buildings in 3D so we can watch them as they scroll ... |

On Startup of CamerAlert you can launch other apps automatically.
In the past this worked fine and would open the original (retiring) TomTom app with no problem. (now takes a lot longer in v 1.23 ... |

Daren good article, question tho......when attached to iPhone and on micro USB. Will bad elf power also charge the phone? Otherwise a 3G phone will most likely die in 3hrs anyway. |

thanks Mike, yes I note from the thread that iPhone4 icons are smaller.
at the moment I am running a 3G phone so multitasking is not an option altho I could run CamerAlert off the ipad on the back ... |

On my orbit2 tried moving voices to thy mydocs/my voices folder - didnt work.
Moved instead to the tomtom voices folder in (installed) program folder - worked fine.

Just moved my TT6 copy from my older XDA2 to my new Orbit2 & COM 4 9600 Baud worked for me first time for the internal GPS...
now I can play - have been using the copilot 7 software on it up ... |
