it would appear that the i3 accepts any maps that are unlocked on your computer.

DO NOT REPEAT, DO NOT
try & download maps to your original flash card.
you WILL lose the data thats already their.
I found this out the hard way.... 
PS CPW are doin 1gb flash for £4 ... |

Map updates can't be downloaded for the i3.
If it's v7, you can send your card off to Garmin for a free update to v8 maps - but this is a one-time deal, don't be expecting that when v9 maps are ... |

My work Van speedo shows 34mph at a GPS 30mph, and 76mph at a GPS 70 mph.
However, I am told Police guidelines are to nick people that do 10% over the speed limit + 2 mph.
