Running from the card is good. You dont want to be in the middle of nowhere, get a flat battery and have nothing to reinstall tomtom with. |

I think there is a lot of old being spread by the manufacturers about "good" and "bad" cards - I've had dozens through without issues.

You must remember that the first time you scan for sattelites can take as long as 10 minutes. Thereafter its about 30 seconds, give or take |
