I have done this and it does state Lifetime Maps. However my question is why aren't i receiving the Traffic information as this comes Free when i got the TomTom.

Assuming your friend is in the UK he can phone TomTom on 020 7387 5444 to de-register the device, you can then register the device to yourself.

Just installed this. Work fine with tomtom home. Love the icons. Will go for a test drive tomorrow and see if the refresh rate is quicker than my old version.
Voice control works fine on my TT920. |

I am seeing v8.3 Large Icons.
Ok, so they are smaller as I have said above but not drastically smaller.
There is nothing we can do about it, it's how TomTom display them now and even their cameras ... |
