Forgot to say that tomtom seems to pick up the GPS sometimes and I get the gps fix but it just doesn't seem reliable and the fix is off about 50 meters.

I have finally got everything together and have configured it as I think it should be. The socket BT comes up as com5 on the loox. Cruxview works fine on com5 and 384 ...

I know this may sound silly but you don't have Cruxview running at the same time, do you?

have you tried to charge the emtac with the supplied ac power adapter for the loox? I have got the socket branded one and it didn't come with an ac adapter !! Don't see why i can't ...

I guess I can always dangle it off the back of the pack. Will see how it goes when I get it.

I understand the difference but why would navcity charge £130 for something you can get for 59 euros at the manufactures website. I must be missing something.
