the current latest maps are not compatible. But TomTom will come out with newer maps that will be compatible with TTN5

| Are you sure you are not confusing this with the assumptions that TT make when planning a route? They are not based upon the speed limit of the road (at least not in TT5) but rather on the road type. ... |

According to our limited information TomTom is considering the option to provide map updates for TTN5. These will not be free, though.
