Out of interest, I was wondering how you managed to purchase the maps? On the TT site, it only lists V6 which when you select, it brings up v6.75 maps.

Hopefully now Romania is part of EU, they might finally produce an updated Eastern Europe map, as the V608 is useless for Romania and Bulgaria. |

This is actually a known problem with TTN5. Their suggested workaround is to copy the entire contents of the CD into a folder on your Hard Disk and then run setup from there.

The error message says it all. TTN5 is not compatible with the Jornada 540.
From memory, the 540 has an SH3 processor, as do most of the Jornada range. TTN5 does not support the SH3 processor.

Yep, first thing I did when I got it was copied it to a new SD card and burnt a copy to CD just for good measure. The original is locked away safe.

Can't reproduce the problem on my setup.
Can however, reproduce it on the cracked version. The cracked version was badly done (Both 5.000 and 5.100) and has a few problems with POI's.
