Thanks, I set to NMEA0183v2 4800 & it still lags behind my actual position sometimes.........any other idea's?

On the advice of several people I re-fromatted my SD card from FAT 16 16k clusters to FAT32 1K clusters and guess what?

Thanks Darren I have the tools but need to know the best way to format eg fat 32/16 cluster size etc.

I have found that loading a map into main memory solved my lockup problems.

Are you saying it should be in ZZZ mode (slider to left)?

I have removed my SD card and loaded a 16mb map into main memory.

After a couple of 10-15 minute journeys I've not yet had a lockup.

On the GPS screen there are 2 sliders, one is for volume but what is the other for?
