In reply to my earlier problem with Mac 1.42 download I forgot that to display the 1.42 in About you must go Settings - Default - Yes - Clear All.

I have mislaid the instructions that came with the Li-ion battery kit so am unsure how to remove the present battery tray from the unit. If I lever it out lugs may snap off. Advice appreciated.

US Dept of Defense only allow updating of coordinates once per second on the civilian GPS system (otherwise sets could be used to guide missiles). The military version has higher update rates.
