PostForum: Navigon Portable Navigation Devices   Posted: Sat Jun 20, 2009 4:19 pm   Subject: USA Maps for Navigon 5110 or 2150 Max
Well, I've worked out from Navigon's site that there are no US maps for the 2150 Max, but I can buy US maps for the 5110 - for £99.00! So I'm not going to bother...

I might buy a re-furbed Tom Tom ...

I've got both of these sat-navs and I'm going to be driving a lot in the eastern states of the USA in July.

Ideally I'd like suitable maps for the 2150 Max, running V7, or at a pinch the 5110 (V6) ...

Success at last!

Hadn't heard from Navigon yet, but as it turns out it was nothing to do with them - at least, I don't think so.

Thought I'd try the download on my wife's laptop, so last night I ...

My first Satnav was the Medion clone of the Mio 168. The s/w was Navigon based and it needed POI Warner 4 to show/warn of cameras.

I then bought a Navigon 5110, and I had to buy POI Warner 5 to use ...

I still use Medion Navigator 4.2 (Navteq maps) on my O2 Orbit phone, mainly for this site's cameras, which work perfectly with it.

I suppose it's a matter of luck and where you live/travel, but as ...

I managed to download a new map for my 8110, but they have a serious case of server overload at Navigon I think.

I managed it in the early afternoon (around 3pm) - and even then it took around 20 m ...

You've done well there, Bazelk, I bought the 2150 Max as soon as V7 of POI Warner came out for it, just before Christmas, but I paid about £160 from memory, and it was extra to activate the Traffic mo ...

I bought a Navigon 2150 Max with the FreshMaps voucher in December, and paid the discounted fee shortly after.

I was notified (can't remember how, to be honest), that Q1 of 2009 was now available f ...

I downloaded POI Warner for MN7 from Navigating.de (German page) on Boxing Day.

I then installed it, in English, on my Navigon 2150 Max.

So far, so good. Then I had to register it to make it wor ...

Well I've been impatient too and ordered a 2150 Max from Amazon for £159.99 plus postage. At that price it's little more than a 2110 Max, and adds Text to Speech, which I probably would have paid for ...

The critical question is, will the PocketGPSWorld camera database be fully compatible with it.

As a long-time Navigon fan I've bought POI Warner for Navigon 4 and for Navigon 6, and if it integrate ...
