Not falling off, but as much use as a chocolate fireguard. It just won't stay on the pins, so stays permanently folded back on the magnetic holder. I'm plucking up the courage to just cut it off.

WHat model zumo? Only the 550 speaks road names. I find mine tells me the road name often enough.

I agree - volume is useless:

a) above 40mph on a bike, earplugs loosley in, windnoise/can noise coming in through lid

b) using the mount speaker in car at 70mph (AC was on at the time)

Garmin's eTrex series is built for this. Bicycle style mount, trip data and programmable coords / routes / previous tracks. AA battery powered that lasts an age.
