Hi,
Replacing the battery is easy, just need to be careful, BUT as you will see from my recent post I lost my GPS signal, and can't get it back. Be very very careful with the aerial connection.

Thanks for the explanation, at least there is a valid explanation for the apparent illogicality of the Tom Tom upgrade!!
