If that image is the one you were trying to use then my investigations show it to be 480 x 271 pixels, not quite the right size ! |

If your 700 has 'never' been upgraded then you will need to use version 1.5 or 1.6 of Home otherwise it will never be recognised.
After you have upgraded as far as possible , then you can install H ... |

The original 'one' has a headphone socket underneath, any sound out of that ?
Otherwise you may have dislodged the speaker wiring, or jammed the moving part of the speaker cone. |

As you already have the hardware, why not just update your map? If you don't need the extras why pay for them. |

It does actually say ( on the website) to use version 1.8 to set up the configuration, then switch to version 2 because it is a Beta and that bit is broken. |

If your 'favourites' are that important you might consider copying them across to a custom POI category.. much easier to move and archive them, and if tomtom change the map config file again then you ... |

The 720 uses internal memory for its maps etc. straight out of the box. Are you sure the 'sdcard' isn't the socket protector? a blank piece of card shaped plastic ? |
