OK - it works if I disable receiving all incoming IR beams and discoverable mode. (a check box under Settings - Connections - Beam).

Now "Follow mode" and "Scaling in" elude me. Maptech says they ...

Does anyone know if Maptech's Outdoor Navigator is compatible with the Garmin products?

Again thanks - truly useful info. Can the Leadtek 9532 be purchased or mail ordered to the US? How much? - for some reason I can't seam to get that from the website.
