i am lost.........i dont have a mapsource to 'go into' the cd i have only loads a set install program for the v8 software, i dont get any option to select another map?

i tried all the ones without upd in title, same thing, its an update not full program.

thank zogman, i have tried several of your links, but they all require the original installation to upgrade from - this is what I have missing.

I already have the CD for v8 Europe its on DVD, but doesnt let me load other things with it like speed cam overlays Sad

I also have the unlock code for v8

any more news on where to get the mapsource program for 2620 i require it to load the overlay maps for speed cameras

I loaded the V8 Europe DVD and it copied the Garmin Europe Maps automatically t my GPS unit, nothing installed to the Hard Disk, it ran from the DVD. All it did was ask me for the 25 digit code.

I got the Speed Camera Maps for the StreetPilot 2620 Overlay. But the txt file it comes with says "Use your MapSource Program to download to your StreetPilot"

My question is where is my MapS ...

That just refers me back to pocketworld, i have looked all through it and cannot find the right thing????

It is a software problem - i had this problem last week and liaised with Garmin direct. They took away my 2620 and replaced it for a new one....
