yes you can, just copy your map folder to the storage card and TomTom mobile will askyou to select the map when it starts up.

Hardware on both 4410 and 4400 is the same (namely the 4100 Bluetooth GPS receiver).

The only difference is the software; with the 4400 you get SmartST Pro and with the 4410 you get SmartST v2.
