Ponty, See this post.
Lots of people have experienced problems with CF cards. It could be the type of card, or if you have an iPAQ, a downgrade of the ROM may do it.

I think the real answer is to throw the thing away.
But..
If you take the back off, and tighten the screw on the pulley right up, it will grip again. It did with mine anyway. |
