I used my unit in Malta last year and it worked just fine never had the warning coming up and you need a satnav in some of the areas around Malta. But my 740 performed with out problems.

After upgrading my 740 to v9.058 all I had to do to get Height to work was change the screen numbers in the height config file and all was well.

Connect your unit to Home. Start the emulator (Operate My Go).
Manage favorites--add 1 favorite (or delete just one you might have).
Close the emulator. Disconnect the unit PROPERLY ... |
