i am looking for blackberry gps software to buy that will replace my tomtom symbian on n73 so i dont have to carry two phones around

go into "change preferences
manage poi's
add poi category , and give it a name "%$^£%&$%&%"
then add poi's from gps pos or address to your poi category

Just a foot note,

I save all my favourites as poi's when using the dreaded sd card, however, i have now run for 1 week on CF card, saving favourites, poi warnings, and checkpoit, guess what !! not ...

just an update, i put everything on my cf card, and ran some tests late last night, added favourites, ticked poi speed cam settings, and all is fine.

next question ...

if you have an ipaq 2210 and tt5 for gods sake dont buy a kingston 512 or 1 gb card.

tt5 forgets all the settings every time

my tt5 forgets all home and favourites, as wekk as speed cam alert settings, also hangs on poi capture, i found that it seems to be when i use Kingston 1gb SD card, problem not as prolific with kingst ...

i uninstalled old checkpoint software, and installed new version for TT5, however i am now left with 3 redundant icons in my ipaq programs screen, that i cant get rid off, any ideas Question

just a foot note, active sync backup was hanging when backing up some tom tom files SDK files in main memory tomtom directory, have deleted them and TT seems to be working will know later

I have been using TT3 and TT5 for a couple of years now, All of a sudden tt5 keeps hanging, after about 30 seconds, have to re-boot, and no joy.

if i turn the volume down on tt5, i get no checkpoint warnings!
in tt3 and checkpoint 3 they were split, and the voice volume of tt3 had no effect.

is it me or is this the way it is now

its probably been answered elsewhere, but the forum pages are so big now that it takes ages to find anything with 56k dialup,

i used to run tt3 and checkpoint 3, independent sounds and good poi war ...

However when installing the maps in ttn5,

when you select great britain plus, it darkens the northern part of ireland, as well as england scotland and wales.

For anyone remotely interested, TTN5 works around central belfast, and i mean central!!
