Anyway is the basic case that if yu have a PDA with Pocket PC 2002 it will NOT work but if you have one with 2003 it will work?

TomTom is known to be impatient when it can't get a fix quickly. It then attempts a cold boot which only makes things worse.
Allow your receiver to get a fix BEFORE you start TTN.
