My solution when I opted to upgrade from the old tomtom wired to bluetooth was to buy a HUDGPS - google for it, Polaris was the make, can get them on ebay.

Hmm, that is strange - do you still have curmaps.ini and dca.ini in your Navman directory ? These get modified on the fly by ST desktop during map messing about - don't know if it will create them if ... |
