My local Lidl store also only had 4 units, one of which had been reserved by someone, which left only 3 available.

That's not very fair reserving one for someone......i am sure my lo ...

Forgive my ignorance, but if one hated the inbuilt software, can you put TomTom or Co-Pilot or whatever on there?

If so, which one(s) recognise the built in GPS receiver part?

So they have reduced the price to account for the missing SD card :D

Hard to say, i reckon most buyers will not realise that you can get 30 quid back for what was an erro ...

Lidl just phoned and offered me a cheque for £30.....i took up the offer....i can buy a 512 meg sd card from scan next time i order somthing...

I bought one of these units from my local Lidl here in Kent, very pleased with it, workes just fine, the Falk navigator looks very good....i am going to test it against TT3 in a friends ipaq.
