Well the reply from TomTom isNavigator 7 has been written for WindowsMobile 6 exclusively and will not work on Mobile 5.

So they don't specifically mention 6.1, but they do eliminate it working on ...

I've recently asked TomTom for advice on this, although I'm using WM5 on my Ipaq 2490 and I have no legal way to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.

Thanks for all the info. It sounds like it will probably be the One as it's the newer faster unit and doesn't seem to have any significant drawbacks.

Sorry I don't know why you should be having the problem formatting the card.

If you have a spare card, it may be worth trying to copy your backup onto that and see if that works, you could then reformat and re-copy your card that is currently a problem and see if that fixes it ...
