Sorry, just checked and you're right, I'd mis-remembered my numbers. The app is cheaper, but not ENOUGH cheaper to overcome my slight preference for having a dedicated device.

What model re you running?

Sorry, it's an XL IQ Live from early 2010. Don't have it to hand so haven't got the exact details, but I updated the application in March 2012, maps version is 8.45.
