I have a Navman 3400 working with version 3.5 here in the states. I bought a used "SE" sleeve (which I understand is a 3450) because it's supposed to have a quicker cold start and the ext antenna jack ...

I understand that the major differences are (compared to my 3420)are the internal battery, ext antenna port and better chipset. Is that all true for the SE ?

If you order SmartST v2005 you get a V3 disc plus a SmartST2005 disc (and maps discs). Load V3 first and then install 2005. After you do that you've got version 3.5x (help, about)

I have a 3420 and have seen the 3450 for sale. Aside from the external antenna port, is there any advantage to upgrading the sleeve ?

Also, my ipaq has an SD card slot. I have all of the maps loade ...

I ran version 1.9 (I think they called it V2) for about two years and it got me horribly lost many times. I'm hoping that the routing logic is much improved in 3.0/3.5 here in the states.
